Perituza Software Solutions was proud to serve as a silver partner at IX 24, an event recently organized by the IEEE Student Branch of the Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT).
This inspiring program, one of the most prestigious inter-university design events in Sri Lanka, brought together a diverse mix of students and professionals. As a company that values talent development and industry-academia collaboration, Perituza welcomed this opportunity to engage with Sri Lanka’s next generation of tech leaders.
IX 24 attracted more than 600 participants forming over 160 teams, representing 21 universities across the country. Prior to the designathon, participants attended a series of workshops covering user experience, human-centric design, and spatial design, which equipped them with valuable knowledge and tools to approach the competition.

From the initial round, the top 12 teams were selected by the judges to compete in a 24-hour final designathon where they collaborated intensively to transform their concepts into impactful solutions. The event concluded on a high note with Four-Cast from the University of Colombo emerging as the champions, while CreativeMinds from the University of Colombo secured first runner-up, and iceSpice from the Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT) claimed second runner-up.
