Perituza recently hosted a technology workshop titled “Career Readiness for Aspiring IT Professionals” at the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT), bringing together passionate students eager to take the next step in their tech careers.
The all-day workshop, facilitated by eight (8) Perituza team members, was hosted in conjunction with SLIIT’s Software Engineering Student Community (SESC). Fifty (50) third-year students pursuing technology-related degree programs were in attendance. Our dynamic team delivered a series of impactful sessions designed to guide students on their path to becoming industry-ready professionals.
Empowering the next generation of students was truly rewarding. I’m honored to have shared insights that will support their transition from classroom to career.
– Shyam P.
The first half of the workshop included educational discussions on applying for jobs, career planning, and interview success. During the afternoon session, pre-registered students received real-time feedback via resume review sessions and mock interviews.
The event was made possible thanks to the kind invitation and support from the Industry Engagement Unit of the SLIIT Faculty of Computing. We’re grateful for the opportunity to connect with future tech leaders and contribute to their professional growth.
At Perituza, we’re committed to nurturing the next generation of IT talent, and this workshop is part of our ongoing mission to bridge the gap between academia and the tech industry.
